I was hoping for a somewhat larger map, but it still works fine, and the plastic coating puts an end to struggling with paper maps
This is definitely easy to fold, but that's about it. The print is tiny, tiny, tiny and the map is split down the center horizontally w/a 1/4" clear strip right in the middle of the state! Very hard to follow roads and highways w/this strip in the middle of the map! The three horizontal folds are also clear stripped, but they are only about 1/16" or less so the continuity there is ok. Very disappointed though. I have bought laminated maps before and have never had this issue. Should've sent it back since I can't even read it w/my reading glasses on, but I'll keep it since it was inexpensive. Definitely won't buy another one, though.
This has come in rather handy already and I've only owned it for a few weeks. I bought one to stash in my glovebox and I found myself in the middle of nowhere last week without cell service. I was able to use my car's compass and the map to figure out where I needed to go. The map folds out and lays flat. The paper between the laminate is cut to match the folds to make this possible. There isn't a whole lot of detail but for general use, it's great.
The type is verging a little small for me but, well...it is the entire state of New York. I love the easy-fold aspect and the ability to write on and wipe off.
It was smaller than I expected. I am sure that somewhere in the description it posted the dimension but I didn't notice it. I have other laminated state maps and they are regular size. This was probably my mistake but didn't much care for it.
